Y Merge, Aluminum

This beautiful 5 axis CNC machined part starts off as a 15.8lb block of aluminum and is machined down to a finished part that weighs just under a 1/2 lb. Overall height is 3.7"  and the simultaneous 5 axis machined inside surfaces of the merge feature perfectly smooth transitional geometry to insure laminar air flow. The 31 degree angled inlets feature a locating groove for 2.5" or 3" tubing. The outlet O.D. is 4" allowing for a variety of connection options. Welding a VBand, Wiggins type flex connection, 4" tubing, or a beaded end are all easily achieved.
